Embedded Phonetic Engine
Embedded Phonetic Component
CrossCompass also has an embedded query component that
can be incorporated into your own applications.
This component (currently a COM
library with a .NET version currently under development) can
easily be invoked to extract both standard database content
and phonetic content.
Typical Configuration
CrossCompass will allow programmers to interface
with its query engine via COM. By simply instantiating a
Dynamic Link Library (DLL):
To deploy this engine and supporting
files, simply use our MSI installer to distribute the DLL files with
your application and instantiate the library as discussed in
the demonstration executable (part of the download file).
A full installation of CrossCompass is mandatory
on at least one PC to use as the administration suite to
set-up the data catalogue.
Prices:
If only one user
is to use the system then all the software will be available
to this user for £450.
Additional concurrent licences are
available at £100 per seat. The system can be installed on as
many PCs as required but limits the concurrent
usage.
The system is designed to access data so the Phonetic
element is just one piece of functionality so the system will
be useful for other than just phonetic requirements.
